Sendo alcalde no Caurel, Jaime de Puentes de Folgoso, que se opuxo \u00e1 medida, polo que foi destituido. Ese non foi o  \u00fanico intento que houbo de cambio de concello.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justificar\">A parroquia de Pacios de Tralaserra solicitou segregarse de Quiroga e incorporarse \u00f3 Caurel o 14 de agosto de 1845. A Deputaci\u00f3n non lles autorizou<br>O 27 de abril de 1844 os veci\u00f1os das parroquias de H\u00f3rreos e Visu\u00f1a solicitaran formar Concello propio. A Deputaci\u00f3n tampouco o aprobou. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"justificar\">O 27 de marzo de 1837 a veci\u00f1anza das parroquias de Lousada e Pacios piden formar Concello propio e sen\u00f3n \u00e9 posible que fosen agregados ao de Caurel.
